"Fading Gigolo" had the potential to be a classic comedy, but unfortunately for audiences every bit of potential was wasted.

This film directed by the great John Turturro and co-starring the young up and coming Woody Allen (intensional), had the ingredients for a successful picture, but it just didn't mix. This film is just like a picture hanging on a hotel room wall, it occupies a space but isn't anything to write home about. This is an incredibly hollow picture that had very little attachment to the characters and left me with a feeling of complete and utter indifference.

The story is of a florist (Turturro) who gets talked into being a gigolo by his buddy(Allen). The lovely Sharon Stone and voluptuous Sofia Vergara make welcome appearances in the mediocre film. There is just nothing going for this film besides the cast, the story was a fun pitch line but nothing more than that. It was executed incorrectly and is very forgettable.
