OK, OK ... this had a nice feel to it. But probably a little too nice. Lacked the grit of 'Barfly', and Matt Dillon's too clean to play a good Hank Chinaski. Some of the stuff didn't translate well to a 'modern' setting either.
But it didn't make me wanna throw anything at the TV.
