Review of Factotum (2005) by Christine B — 12 Mar 2008
Matt Dillon does an amazing job as Charles Bukowski thinly disguised as Henry Chinaski in this film based on Bukowski's book of the same name. Most of Bukowski's life was a colourful downer which is what this film is.
Lili Taylor shines as always but what it really comes down to is the passion to write (and drink) despite all of life's obstacles.
