Review of Factory Girl (2014) by Brent C — 27 Mar 2008
A very entertaining arthouse film. Tells the story of the quick rise and tragic fall of sixties figure Edie Sedgwick. The story is far from perfect but the cast is uniformly good in recreating the period of New York in the sixties with the focus on Andy Warhol's Factory.
The story revolves around the relationship between Sedgwick and Warhol, we don't come to fully understand it but it is pretty engrossing nontheless. Not for all tastes but overall a good film.
