Review of Factory Girl (2006) by Ash S — 09 Feb 2008
I like the overall feel of the film. I liked the way the sixties were portrayed, and it left me feeling like I didn't quite waste my time. I like Andy Warhol's work so it was really interesting to see someone's take on it.
But Sienna Miller's portrayal was odd, and I ended up just thinking Edie sedgewyck was a stupid bimbo. I like Hayden Christensen, but I don't think he was right for the part at all. Guy Pearce did a good job of being creepy, and I think that's what the director wanted.
