Review of Factory Girl (2006) by Billy B — 21 Apr 2008
I found myself warming up to this movie rather nicely. I watched it twice in one day, because of the juicy lacivious plot. Guy Pearce did a credible Warhol. Jimmy Fallon wasn't irritating, this is a major break through for him.
Sienna Miller was dishy enough to play Sedgwich. The feel of the Factory in the movie fells like the New York underground of sixties and every pose and verbal prode: all delivered with highly controled snakiness.
Just as any devilishly clever queen would have then, who had her wits about her, while living in the fierce New York of the sixties. It fabulous, all Super Star and it last longer than fifteen minutes.
