Review of Factory Girl (2006) by Michelle B — 19 May 2008

Hollow plot, beautiful eye candy. Pretty disappointed because I was hoping it was better than the reviews suggested, especially since I love the time period and art movement associated with it. Acting was decent, my main problem was the unexpected moral conservatism running throughout it - cute little rich girl taken advantage of by big bad immoral artist/drugs are bad! In spite of the black-and-white world viewpoint, it still gets two stars for hayden christiansen's cute bob dylan impersonation and the steamy sex scene smack dab in the middle of the movie.
