Review of Factory Girl (2006) by Nathan T — 18 Aug 2008
I don't think I've ever seen a cast capture their characters so well. Guy Pierce as Andy Warhol and Sienna Miller as Edie Sedgwick did an absolutely amazing job and the resemblance is uncanny. Both their voices and appearance amazed me. And not only that, but the acting is spot on and honestly half of the time I forgot they were just acting as Edie and Andy.. I felt like I was watching actual old footage of the two. The dedication to their characters from these two actors is admirable.
I suggest watching this movie and then looking up some of the old videos if you haven't seen any of them to get what I mean.
Also, putting the incredible acting behind, the movie was beautifully done. The way it was filmed.. the rawness really captured me.
Amazing.
