Factory Girl was a very intriguing film that showed the downfall of Edie Sedgwick's already pecuilar life. Sienna Miller did a fantastic job capturing the free spiritied but yet afriad girl that Sedgwick was. The events that took place during Andy Warhol's Factory era were very explicit for that time period and George Hickenlooper did a great job showing those events without holding back on how explicit it was. Wanting to turn away at during some scenerios of the film, I could not because of how intriguing it was.

Another actor that I feel did a great job was Guy Pearce, who portrayed the bizarre life of Andy Warhol. Warhol was a very mysterious man in the ways he looked at life and lived his own. Pearce was able to make the viewer hate Warhol but feel sympatheic for him, which is somthing great actors have the ablility to do!

With all of the mixed reviews about Factory Girl, my opinion is that it is a great film that takes us into a lifestyle that most of us wonder about, and how it affected those who experienced it during the 1960's.
