Review of Facing Windows (2003) by Louise V — 14 Sep 2007
An old homosexual diabetic man who longs for his long lost love and bakes cakes he can't eat. A young married woman who is tempted to have an affair with that beautiful man next door.Their worlds come together to reveal the pain, frustration and anger of wanting something that is not accepted by society.
A film about forbidden love. Greatly shot making use of flashbacks that seem to be more like hallucinations .Combined with a great sound track by Giorgia this film touches you deeply. Great Italian film by a great director.
