There is so much about Facing the Giants that is horrible -- the script, the acting, the direction -- but its intentions are genuine and admirable... unlike Fireproof. I must say that the goal of winning the big game seems pretty trivial, but the film is obviously meant more metaphorically.
"We can do all things through Christ...".
