Review of Facing the Giants (2006) by Melanie W — 14 May 2009

Incredibly moving, heartwarming, brought me to tears a few times. I love the positive message of hope and faith in Jesus Christ to help us conquer our fears and win any battle. This film didn't cut corners at all on the religious aspect, which I appreciate and respect.

I don't tend to like sports movies, because I'm not all that big a sports fan, but this one supercedes my usual indifference by a longshot. I absolutely loved it! An absolute must-see for all families and anyone who just needs some encouragement - in this day and age, especially now with the economic disaster, we all do.

Expect to get lifted by the end of this film. The resounding message was: Don't quit! Don't give up! You have what it takes to win if you keep fighting and trust God!
