What a wonderful movie! For a long time, Hoosiers was my favorite sports movie. Facing the Giants takes over, not just because football trumps basketball all the time, but behind the wonderful and moving Christian lessons taught by this team.
In a culture so dominated by "look what I did!" this movie shows that anything is possible when God is acting through you and you seek Him and open your life to Him. Some of the "critics" call it heavy-handed - I call it a wonderful lesson.
