Review of Facing Ali (2009) by Erika R — 18 May 2010
I grew up watching boxing with my dad. I realized half way through the film that this is more than boxing greats talking about what is was like being in the ring with Ali. It is about boxing period...the good and the bad.
Seeing the greats of boxing past and what a toll the sport took on their bodies is sad. Leon Spinks broke my heart, but he still has the gumption of 30 years ago. The end where the guys speak of Ali and his health was touching.
