Review of Faces of Death (1978) by Tico P — 07 Nov 2010
Faces of Death, while a high percentage faked, faces the taboo of discussing and showing death (not common in USA where it is swept under the rug or embalmed & painted asap).
Many scenes of real deaths are tastelessly show or dubbed with cheap music or death sounds.
While it is not for the faint of heart or unstable of mind, I think boldly facing mortality can prove to be a shock some need in order to not take life or people for granted. We all have at least one thing in common in "the end".
Interesting film, but I could've done it better.
