Review of Faces (1968) by Ben K — 28 Jul 2007
John Cassavetes had a gift for honest searing domestic dramas that no one wanted to see. An antidote to the formulaic crap coming out of Hollywood. Seymour Cassel performance here pretty much inspired Edward Norton's entire career much as one suspects Ewan McGregor stole much of what he knows from Albert Finney in Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.
