Review of Face/Off (1997) by Tatsuhito K — 17 Mar 2013

I honestly didn't have a single problem with this film, the film had me guessing what was going to happen throughout the film. Most films I can have an idea of what could happen, but in this film I had honestly no idea how the characters were going to get out of the situation, and when it happened it wasn't overly unbelievable.

The acting was very good. There are actually two things that I could see people get mad over. The first one is that there is an abundance of slow motion. There are quite a few instances in which they really didn't need slowmo, but still used it, which decreases the epicness of slow motion.

It can get annoying, but I didn't have to big of an issue with it. The second thing it that I saw one plot hole, and usually I don't notice plot holes. The whole voice thing, I thought they could have done some more with that piece of the plot, but they kind of forget it by the end of the film.

Overall I really did like the film besides these problems, if it wasn't for these I would probably vote it higher.
