Review of Face/Off (1997) by Cade H — 05 Apr 2013
I was pleasantly surprised at how decent of a movie Face/Off was. I am usually not a Nicolas Cage fan at all but this role fit him well and the feud between him and Travolta was fun to watch unfold. The whole premise was insane but once it got going it was cool to see how each man reacted "being" the other person.
There were plenty of intense moments and lots of crazy shootouts with millions of bullets being fired and only a couple ever hitting the mark, typical for a John Woo film. It was entertaining enough to make it worth a watch and it let me see that at least at one point Nicolas Cage was a decent sought after actor.
