Review of Face/Off (1997) by Ryan K — 12 May 2014
I guess critics were simply delusional in 1998 because film premises have not progressed on a level nearly enough to consider this "good for its time." The entire idea Behind 'Face/Off' is something from a 13 year old's imagination, filled with awfully fraudulent action sequences and corny scriptwriting.
Cage is the only positive aspect of the film, even when Travolta is playing him. John Woo's worst film.
