Review of Face/Off (1997) by Omar K — 14 Sep 2015
I was genuinely tossing up between giving this the highest and the lowest possible score. It is simultaneously an insane, logic-defying masterpiece of ludicrous trash nonsense and a fascinatingly intense, gripping cinematic analysis of identity featuring two performances with no regard for the behaviour of real humans that somehow make perfect sense.
Not for one second does this movie make any sense, and yet the whole thing makes perfect sense.
