Review of Face/Off (1997) by Alex K — 07 Oct 2017
There ain't no shootout like a John Woo shootout. The action in this film is intense and visceral, with all of the great John Woo trademarks like slow motion and chunks of the set blowing up. The film also succeeds thanks to a clever premise that is well realized thanks to the performances of the two leads, who really make the movie what it is.
And that is fun.
