Review of F for Fake (1973) by Anne F — 22 Sep 2009
A very confusing, wandering account of art forgery and other hoaxes - this film raises great questions about what makes art good, and how we can tell whether experts really know what is real. Orson Welles makes a great narrator and I have no idea exactly where truth began and ended in the film.
