Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Sarah W — 28 Nov 2008
This is such an amazing film. The sparse dialogue, restrained emotions, and stunningly shot filmography add up to create a movie which treads the line between beauty and replusion to great effect. Stand-out scenes such as the surgery and the final scene help to make this one of the most affecting and powerful films I have seen in a long time.
