Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Guido P — 24 Feb 2011
A very, very strange and enigmatic horror film. Though I'm utterly unconvinced by its science, the chilling atmosphere Georges Franju sets up, as well as the stupendous performances (considering how easily the film could have turned into camp), make this a wonderful oddity to watch on Saturday nights.
The final shot clinches the deal for me; very rewarding movie.
