Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Chris V — 24 Feb 2011
I am so inordinately creeped out by this movie, I cannot even tell you. Probably one of the very first so-called "slasher movies," and one of the best. It's miles away from the stereotypes that genre has aquired.
It's slow, calm, atmospheric, and just about ideal for what it tries to do. Definitely one of the "buried treasure" file.
