Review of Eyes Without a Face (1960) by Tibor B — 24 Feb 2011
Excellent French horror, which skilfully mixes both poignant emotion, some truly disturbing face transplant scenes, and beautiful expressionist cinematography mixed with a sense of grim reality. Surreal and quietly unsettling.
