Cold, pitiless and forensic, Les Yeux Sans Visage is a movie that is hard to like. A grieving surgeon abducts pretty young women in order to remove their faces and transplant them to his disfigured daughter.

None of the main characters have a hinterland or anything that would make them more than a cypher, with the result that it's hard to maintain interest.
