Review of Eyes Wide Shut (1999) by Eva3Si0N — 13 May 2022
Eyes Wide Shut is the last film of the great Stanley Kubrick and perhaps the most controversial in his filmography. First, this is a film about marital fidelity, and it has many hints of Freud's psychology.
Secondly, Eyes Wide Shut has a weak storyline against the background of the director's other films. The excellent acting duo of Kidman and Cruz perfectly convey the life of an ordinary family with their problem.
