Review of Eye of the Devil (1966) by Dylan W — 18 Oct 2008
Oh shit, this is so great. An obvious forebear of the Omen. This movie was just what I needed. Slow, devils and great new wave british genre film making. It would only seem lightweight and dated if you had no interest in the occult or great film making.
Kerr is a shining star, as usual. It reminds me of Incubus and Kubrick films but offers a lot of it's own creepiness.
