Review of Eye in the Sky (2015) by Netflic — 10 Apr 2016
It’s a drone war movie where an international team of military professionals conduct surveillance of the few most wanted jihadists. The movie had a potential to be a very good one: an interesting idea, talented director and actors. If not the script. It is over-simplistic, not realistic and too Hollywood-ish.
There is a bit of suspense and thrill there, but there *could be* interesting ethical and moral aspects to rules of engagement in modern warfare. That part was not well-written. Nevertheless, due to talented crew the movie was still watch-able.
