Review of Eye in the Sky (2015) by Yosemite — 04 Apr 2016
A film about a single event as it effects multiple characters. Tense, good pacing , good casting and a believable plot . It shows how future wars may be fought. Unmanned aircraft capable of taking out a single bed room thousands of miles away with the "button" in the hand of a low level soldier doing an eight hour shift on a base in the desert somewhere.
The only character I felt was not creditable was the Aaron Paul character. Aaron, himself , did a good job but I don't think a soldier would hold his position with the conscience issues he had. Just as the judge asks a potential juror in a murder trial if he/she has a moral objection to Capital Punishment, the trigger man has to be able to follow orders that he knows may or will kill innocents.
