Eye in the Sky is a thoroughly engaging film with thought-provoking ideas and great performances. The whole cast delivers amazing performances. Helen Mirren is great in the lead role. Aaron Paul and the late Alan Rickman both shine in their roles.
The film is engaging throughout its runtime. You think about the ethics of the situation the whole time. There are compelling arguments on both sides. Like Captain America: Civil War, there isn't a clear-cut answer.
The film is thrilling the whole time. Director Gavin Hood brings a lot of tension to the situation. I also liked that the film takes place in real time. Overall, this is one of the best films of the year.
A must see!
