Review of Eye in the Sky (2007) by Jono M — 01 May 2016

Eye In The Sky is by no means a classic, but it was a pretty good flick to see. Watching it really highlighted the impact that drones and politics could potentially have on modern warfare. The constant political setbacks in the plot actually became annoying after a while, but were probably necessary to make the movie go for a reasonable length.

It was also very tense, but that feeling spread over 90 minutes meant that some of the tension was lost over time. Helen Mirren was probably the closest thing to a main character that the movie had, and she was top notch in her role.

Shout out to Monica Dolan as well; she was so unlikable that I absolutely hated her characters guts, which is exactly what they wanted me to do.
