The heaviest movie I've seen in a while. While I don't think this should have been up for Best Picture, I do think that the young man in the lead role deserves a ton of praise. He carries this movie. There are constant moments that evoke deep emotions within its' viewers.
The last half an hour or so had my dad in tears. Certainly a well made movie with a well developed premise but due to the material I wouldn't ever watch it again.
