Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Alberto G — 17 Jul 2012
Thomas Horn was the movie. The kid can act. But there was something amiss. I don't know what made this "by the book tearjerker" a bit cartoonish. Maybe the over the top acting by Horn. Or the lack of emphasis between the mother and son relationship.
There was something amiss. Nevertheless, it did make my eyes watery and sometimes, overflow, but no lump in the throat. This could have been so much more.
