Very polarizing film. Some love it; some hate. I loved it. I thought it was beautifu, heartfelt, and a great testament to the value of support in a time of tragedy. Pretentious? If raw emotions are pretentious then so be it.
Annoying? Well, I kind of agree about the kid but it works. Manipulative? Doesn't all art try to get a strong reaction from the audience? Great film I think. One of thebest in it's year.
