Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Zack F — 09 Oct 2012
Extremely Loud is incredibly sad and its themes of human connections are touching, but little sympathy is felt toward the lead character when directed to be so annoyingly precocious. The actor can show his neurosis and struggle with his internal feelings without repeatedly fake cursing such as âFukazawa youâ?.
I rather my future child swear then say annoying things like that. Otherwise, the movie is strongly played by the supporting players, but all their roles seem mostly insignificant to the large story at hand.
