Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Timothy G — 27 Nov 2012

I didn't enjoy this. In my opinion, the film tried too hard to be something powerful and ended up being a showcase for the mediocre talent of child actor Thomas Horn. I don't necessarily think it pandered to those still strongly emotionally affected by 9/11 like some critics say, although without that tragedy, this movie may not have ever been made.
