Review of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011) by Gill L — 06 Oct 2013

I honestly have very neutral feelings about this film. I was disappointed about how little Tom Hanks was used in the film but I suppose it wouldn't have fit the story to have more flashbacks. For the majority of the film, I just wasn't engaged and couldn't get into it.

I was really annoyed by Sandra Bullock's character throughout the film as well, criticizing her parenting. However, the ending was very touching and brought things together nicely and because of this, I can say it was a pretty good film and I would be happy to see it again.
