Review of Extreme Measures (1996) by Archibald T — 24 Mar 2011
This is a very good thriller. Hackman's character uses homeless people to experiment on to try and find a cure for people who are paralyzed or disabled in some way. Grant's character tries to figure out why a patient of his disappeared. His search leads him to Hackman who presents a question: If you could cure cancer by killing one person, wouldn't you have to do that?
That's one of those questions where human nature is put to the test. Very thought provoking.
