Review of Extraordinary Measures (2010) by Anis T — 11 May 2010
The critics bashed it, everyone hated it, yet I found it to be emotionally moving and not as bad as they said it was. It's the story of a married couple who tries to find a researcher who might have a cure for their children's rare genetic disorder.
Of course it's no easy task but the father (played by Brandon Fraser) is not ready to quit anytime soon. Harrison Ford plays the doctor who's on the verge of a scientific breakthrough. "Extraordinary measures" might not be a great film, but it's still worth checking out.
It's a feel good movie that actually makes you feel good. Ford is fun to watch as always.
