This film definitely tries to tug at the heartstrings but it fails. I didn't feel connected to the children or to the cause, and Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser turned in equally appalling performances.
Keri Russell and Courtney B. Vance were the only shining lights, however both were left with far too little to do.
