Review of Extraordinary Measures (2010) by Tawseef R — 17 Aug 2010
The story-telling was very well done. I cried because is something people sometimes don't get (Humans, why humans?). Seriously, the movie moved me and touched my heart as a Human. Recommend it to all of those who have childrens with a sickness. It will make you think a lot.
Plot: A family with kids who have a genetic disorder, and only a a man who can save them by making the cure they need.
Acting: Harrisond Ford as Dr. Robert was impressive. I know he is talented but wow! He did amazing on this film. Brendan Fraser as John was marvelous! I cried with his character. He realy impressed me. He realy made of the character his own. Keri as Aileen did stunning! It was amazing. Courtney did awesome (even if I miss his character in FLASHFORWARD, which got cancelled). Meredith and Diego did amazing for their ages. Love this cast. They were all impressive.
Music: Very intense, dramatic. It was lovely.
To end this review, 4 stars of 5. The movie was impressive, it got me. I cried and smile at the kids. Gosh, they were very sweet. I just hope all the kids in the world are happy and they should know that there is no sickness. They are all unique and same as the others. Inteligents and they got a family that will fight for them until the end. I got a friend with Down Syndrom (or Syndrom of Down), and she is amazing person. And one friend who died from a blood sickness at young age. I know this disorder genetics are scary, but they don't know humans are stronger than them. Kids rules! PEACE TO ALL!
