Review of Extraordinary Measures (2010) by James H — 06 Jun 2010
48/100. It is an inspiring story and very well meaning, but it is so bogged down with extremely stereotypical characters and contains every cliche in the book, therefore it leaves nothing original for the viewer to enjoy.
It relies too much on manipulating the audience with melodrama, rather than to offer originality. The performers try, and they do well with what they have. Well produced. It says it is based on fact, but I wasn't convinced in the least, and after a little research, it is highly fictionalized.
