Honestly this movie struck me for being that type of movie you would either see on network tv or perhaps better suited for HBO (a la "Something the Lord has Made"). While I truly enjoyed watching Harrison Ford, I just couldn't get into Brendan Fraser's performance.
It's weird, it's not that he did a bad job, I just had a hard time connecting with his portrayal. I believe a sign of a good acting job is not noticing the actor act (if that makes sense), with Fraser I could clearly see him acting the role.
All this negative aside, I too would recommend this just about anyone.
