Watching it once felt like a torture test of seeing a guy like Bateman's character getting fucked over and over again. Watching it again I can appreciate the writing is, not really the directing. This one is one of the more realistic comedies out there, women who are manipulative and evil (But who cares if they are hot right?They can get away with it.
), stoners who are...stoners. Nobodies perfect and this film does not show one perfect person with one perfect point of view which is the best thing about the film. Ben Affleck should stick to comedies or playing characters because he is better at it.
This was one film where I nearly had a headache myself seeing what poor Jason Bateman's character was going through. A decent comedy, anyone who likes anything from Mike Judge should check this one out, rent first.
