Review of Extract (2009) by Christopher D — 29 Apr 2010
This is disappointing--a mostly unfunny comedy from the guy who created "King of the Hill" and wrote and directed Office Space. Extract is boring in parts, hilarious in others (especially at the end, which is a bit too late), and only moderately amusing the rest of the time.
I really wanted to like it, but despite a few amusing gags (like the annoying neighbor, the annoying middle-age ladies at the factory, and the annoying wannabe rocker), Extract just wasn't that funny.
I do give the film points, though, for making me enjoy David Koechner--he usually just makes me angry.
