Review of Extinction (2018) by Gomi A — 26 Jul 2018
Though a decent premise for the film, Lizzy Caplqn and the rest of the cast deliver their lines as if they are freshmen drama students. Michael Peña gives a passable performance, though I suspect all of the acting suffered from poor scripting and almost amateur directing.
The children's performances could have been wholly left out altogether, as silence would have been better than a string of cringeworthy recitals. We all know Michael can act, but please...stop casting Lizzy.
