As a casual movie watcher, I was intrigued by the capturing trailer but my expectations from the trailer were not matched in the movie. Extinction, while it had a very slow but enticing start, the plot twist and the nail biting ending gripped me right back into the movie.
Ben Young (the director for those who were unaware) did a good job on setting up this movie for a sequel, which I am excited to get my hands on. Overall, extinction is a decent movie if you're looking for action packed scenes and a thought provoking story line.
