I loved this a lot more when I was a kid, but when I watch it now, it just seems to have lost something. It a great movie up until the end when it turns into an alien drug-trip and then mushy-gushy family movie ending.
But it is fun and interesting to see Phoenix and Hawke so young and early in their careers.
